George Hruby Needs A Job
May 14, 2009 | Carlsbad, California | Vetting explained
Not unlike millions of americans, Geroge Hruby in San Diego county, takes initiative to find a job.
On my way home from taking my son to school, I noticed George and this bright yellow sign. I received his permission to ask a couple of questions, and shoot a video of his responses.
George was very eloquent and elaborate about his unemployment, how he became this way, what his situation is currently and what he hopes his chances are of gaining employment. There was a sense of urgency, desparation and hope in the words that George shared.
The discussion was a bit lengthy for an iReport so there is a condensed version (explaining the highlighted dialogue)that I believe emphasizes the points noted on his brigth Yellow sign.
I do feel that all and any commentary will occur for this video; and having said that, if we have not been umployed for a lengthy time and especially in the current ecomomic state, any of us can and have been in this position of uncomfort.
Open to comments about George, but better yet, if you are able to network for each and every person that currently does not have a job, it is a value gained by the purpose of including this iReport.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
