Bill Bixby, was always someone I admired growing up. His TV shows, The Courtship Of Eddie's Father, My Favorite Martian, and The Incredible Hulk we're some of my favorites...

When The Incredible Hulk debuted in 1977 It was a massive international hit, seen in over seventy countries. The show made Bixby into a pop icon of the late '70s and early '80s. That series wasn't based on the comic book, but it had very powerful and emotional episodes with issues of Child abuse, Spousal Abuse, Alcohol Abuse, and many more tough subjects.

The reason I admired Bill Bixby so much was because he was a very good role model, and someone who always loved to help people. He also went through alot in his life. After falling in love and marrying Brenda Benet, she gave birth to their son Christopher in 1974. On March 1, 1981, Bixby's six-year-old son Christopher died suddenly of a rare throat infection. Brenda Benet committed suicide not to long after that...9 Years later while filming an NBC movie of the week, "The Incredible Hulk Returns" Bixby married Laura MIchaels. 2 years later Bill Bixby was diagnosed with Prostate cancer, and that same year Laura decided to divorce him.

Bixby's friends were very concerned and did everything to show him their love and support and introduced him to a wonderful lady named Judith Kliban in 1993. They married a few months later.  While directing a popular show called "Blossom" bixby continued to direct the NBC series until his body gave out. But he worked until the very end.

On November 21, 1993, six days after his final assignment on Blossom, Bill Bixby died of complications in Century City, California.

His final interview on Entertainment Tonight was one of the most emotional moments I have ever seen. I'll always admire Bill Bixby for the man he was and
for what he stood for. Truely he was one of the last great role moldels we have today...
