Get Over It!
May 21, 2009 | Vetting explained
Oh the weeping and the shedding of tears on iReport! Over American Idol to boot. Just a show where ratings are everything. I haven't seen one story here wishing Kris the best of luck and congrats.
Kris was the underdog who played it smart by laying low until the last when he knew it was his time to shine. Being from Arkansas I am very proud of Kris and what he has accomplished by being the first Idol from Arkansas.
Adam has a lot of talent. Being in musical theater all his life, what would you expect? I think he was a little too eccentric and too much show on Idol and even though he was genuine, Kris was pure genuine and paid most attention to song and lyrics.
We all know good and well that Adam and Alison will make it big in the music world and we wish them God speed! But the people have voted and though it may not have been your choice, you should still congradulate Kris and wish him the best.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
