Fisheye lens photo - freaky Ringmaster!
May 25, 2009 | Chicago, Illinois | Vetting explained
This is the Ringmaster on the playfield of the Bally Cirqus Voltaire pinball machine. He comes up out of the playfield and taunts the player to try to hit him. He's freaky looking enough normally, but he just cries out for the fisheye treatment.
I was working at Bally/Williams Pinball at the time (1997) and got the guy programming the game to keep the light on inside the Ringmaster head while I took the picture - normally it flashes rapidly. This was at their engineering facility on California Ave. in Chicago, IL. Sadly, Williams got out of the pinball business in late 1999 :-(
Canon F-1 and Canon FD 7.5mm lens.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
