Coca-Cola 600 Nascar My Thank You!
May 26, 2009 | Morgantown, West Virginia | Vetting explained
I personally want to do a shout out to the people which aired this event and as well as all the sponsers of the race. Being a army wife to a deployed soldier, I loved the honor towards our military and our fallen heros. The interviews they did and words drivers and annoucers spoke were moving.
I felt this was just fantastic.
David Reutimann, after not pitting when the rain came on Lap 227 and waiting out a two-plus hour rain delay, won the Coca-Cola 600 after officials called the race giving Reutimann and MWR their first Cup victory in the shortest 600 in history.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
