To Arnold about Prop8: 5-26-2009 Hot topic: Life has limits. Two sides to each argument. What is right is a matter of definition. It's not right to create an institution that makes a mockery of love, marriage and nobility. Even when doing so, in the name of love. I see all men among men as brothers. I see all women among women, as sisters. With that in mind, It's not love either way, as evidenced by all inappropriate sexual acts, that start with good intentions. Mature people know this ... children don't. There's a limit. Responsible adults know better and should continue to recognize the need for respectful, appropriate limitations.
Is this equality issue really about what people say they are or what they believe, they are and want to be? I have my answer. You have yours. How beautiful and natural, are the Birds and the Bees. In truth, how shall we re-write their story? It's not necessarily a religious Church thing. It is necessarily a comfort thing, as to what we are naturally comfortable with.
So Governor Arnold, I have to ask you, deep down, is this really about equality, or the proliferation of immorality? Is it actually about the concerns of a minority, or manipulation by a subculture? You have a beautiful wife and children. You are an icon of family values, a respected Governor, and a movie star. Have your freinds, come with a price?
I don't expect an answer. With deep love and respect for our grandparents and for generations of men with women who are, and have been happily married and contributing to the health and wealth of our nation, I close by saying that we the people in every state accross America, grow tired of this issue.
