"SALUTATIONS!"

Semper Fi, Marines, Army, Navy, Air force, I salute you!

Answering CNN's report on recent suicides in the armed forces.

Today I want to remind you, that you have a higher purpose. In your Bibles turn to Phillipians 4-13."I can do all things through Christ who stengthens me." Because at the end of the day, we are spiritual people. You can't cling to people. People die. It's not our flesh, sex, sexuality, drugs. drink, pornography or friends that can get us through the worst times. None of that works, none of that gives us a higher purpose. It is the gift of God in our indomitable human spirit that gives us a higher purppose. I know you've felt guilt and you may have killed. You're feeling the horror, or loss, and betrayal. You may be feeling a general lack of forgiveness, unanble to forgive yourself. But you must believe in your charge, and know that you have a higher purpose! We are champions of choice, and free will. None of us, aside from skin color, are anything other than what we want to be. Semper Fi means forever faithful. So be faithful and remember that you have a higher purpose. SUICIDE is not an option.
