Competition Cook
June 7, 2009 | garden city, New York | Vetting explained
I was teaching a grilling class yesterday (blurry pictures attached) and someone asked about what it takes to be a competition barbecue cook or griller.
I told her to watch this video I shot for ireport last summer. It really gives a great feel for what it's like living and cooking on the road. Next up, seafood soup on the grill. And for more, be sure to check out http://www.aBBQnation.com !

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
