Rock the Boat for Autism
June 12, 2009 | Deerfield Beach, Florida | Vetting explained
A group of friends has just started a 1500 mile journey--in two rowboats.
They're hoping the trek raises awareness and $250,000 for autism. They were well on their way to that goal even as they left Deerfield Beach, Florida on June 12 and kicked off "Rock the Boat for Autism." They hope to reach Sea Isle City, New Jersey on August 1.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
