1400 Ballots for 200,000+ Iranians in the Bay Area...

The station for Iranian Presidential Election in Bay Area was an unexpected scene today. A lot of people were in line, waiting to get in and vote. The station ran out of ballots around 3pm and they promissed to bring in more ballots by 4pm, which ended up being close to 6pm. They had only 800 ballots in the morning, and they only added 600 later - a total of 1400. The population of Iranians in the Bay Area is estimated to be 200,000 to 250,000. I don't know what percentage of these people are considered "eligible" for voting - but 1400?!! Even for a pop concert you see around 10,000 people showing up. A lot of people left after waiting for a couple of hours, but there were still a lot who stayed. Due to high demand and lmited number of ballots you were given a number - no number, no vote. Unbelievable.
