Aerial Photography - Bonnaroo 2009
June 14, 2009 | Manchester, Tennessee | Vetting explained
Crashed Bonnaroo without a ticket - for 10 minutes. We were taking photographs of Chattanooga, TN's Riverbend festival and on a whim decided to take the 17 minute helicopter flight to nearby Manchester, TN. Took the following photographs about 8:45 local time on Saturday night. Saw another helicopter and landed near the main stage, but as we weren't officially part of the festival and no VIP passengers, we had to leave. Maybe we can trade some photos for VIP tix next year? It looked amazing - my dream would have been to go 2 years ago when The Police were playing - with an air conditioned RV.
My first Bonnaroo - maybe next year I'll go.

p.s. Did I mention that Michael W. is an amazingly talented helicopter pilot?
