I was Kung Fu'ed by David Carradine
June 13, 2009 | Toronto, Ontario | Vetting explained
Several years ago I was on assignment to photograph some rock bands like Triumph being inducted into the Canadain Music Hall of Fame outside Toronto. I was down in the green room when David Carradine charged in. Then He immediately rushed over and before I could react he used his KungFu on me. I was so shocked and pleased that one of my favorite TV heros actually used Kung Fu on me . Unfortunately for me he was manic and was almost breaking my arm but I managed to softly say "GrassHopper your really hurting my arm could you do this to the other ?
He then released me. At the time he was inebriated and I will always feel that if I had not used that line from the series he would have permanently damaged my arm. Actually I think he did because it still hurts when I twist my arm backwards to scratch my back.
