iPhone 3GS - all hype?
June 19, 2009 | Alpharetta, Georgia | Vetting explained
On the eve of Apple's self-proclaimed "best iPhone ever", not a creature was stirring. I drove around looking for lines outside of a few different AT&T stores and found the same thing at each - nothing. Each store had employees working to get all the new promotional materials set up, and there were signs boasting "Form line here", however there was no line, at any of the stores. I drove past the mall where there is an Apple store - nobody. So perhaps everyone is just going to drive up there in the morning? I think Apple is churning out too many new products too soon. Many people aren't "qualified" to buy the new phone at the special price. Not qualified? C'mon AT&T, its a phone. You will still make money on people.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
