motorcycle commuting= ZEN
May 29, 2008 | san diego, California | Vetting explained
I'm fortunate that I work 10am-7pm everyday.....sometimes I'll go in at 9:30 and I live in San Diego, CA. I commute year round on one of my two motorcycles with almost no traffic, beautiful weather, and plenty of great scenery.
My commute is only 17 miles each way (about 20 min) but usually I'll leave a little earlier and extend it 40-45 minutes and take a longer route.
I get 35-40mpg too. Getting on my motorcycle every morning is like a ZEN vacation. It's pure pleasure and probably the best part of my day. Not to mention my bikes are both FAST and deliver a rush no car can come close to. I couldn't ask for a better commute!

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
