Venturing into the virtual world of Second Life was a huge leap of faith for the Senior Project® Center (SPC), but they now have an office on Eduisland II and are making new business connections with educators who know the future is online and inworld. Wednesday evening, the SPC had the honor to be invited to speak after a fun Trivia game at the Discovery Education Network forum. Aspen Alexandria (SL), aka Carleen Osher (RL), the CEO/Executive Director of the Senior Project® Center, gave the audience an overview of this nationally recognized and award-winning program for high school seniors. Afterwards, several SL residents met at the SPC office to talk, get a free t-shirt, and deconstruct the evening's events. Educators and interested visitors can visit the SPC/SL office at http://slurl.com/secondlife/Eduisland II/29/229/53 or visit the website at http://www.seniorproject.net.
