Shah Khamenei: i$ thi$ all about Money?
“The Iranian revolution had only two major achievements: eliminating the monarchic system and eliminating its old institutions and social habits. We have succeeded in discarding the (old) system….in the old system one person (the Shah) made decisions for the nation, who had no role in electing him” implying that the Supreme Leader Khamenei was a replica of the Shah. Mohsen Kadivar (محسنکدیور, born June 7, 1959) is an Iranian philosopher, University lecturer, cleric and activist.
June 19, 2009 LONDON - IRANIAN assets of nearly one billion pounds' (S$2.38 billion) are frozen in Britain under international sanctions imposed over Teheran's nuclear programme, the British government said on Thursday. 'The total assets frozen in the UK under the EU (European Union) and UN sanctions against Iran are approximately 976,110,000 pounds,' Ian Pearson, economic secretary to the Treasury, said in a written statement to parliament. The statement gave no further details. The UN sanctions include freezing assets of, companies and people alleged to be engaged in or supporting sensitive nuclear work or the development of ballistic missiles, including state-run Bank Sepah and firms controlled by the Revolutionary Guards. Khamenei is the more attached to power by all means including arrests and torture, since he was nothing more than a middle-level cleric when Khomeini nominated him as his successor. Yes, “it is good to be the King”.
As seen in thisarticle by the writer Roya Hakakian, the Iranian government is expert in creating external enemies to strengthen their power over naïve citizens. Since 1978 they are doing this successfully.
Now, why suddenly the great Satan is not the US anymore, but Great Britain? The Iranian government says the British were the cause of the unrest. Several double nationality British were arrested on this accusation. They are now being tortured Stalin style to “confess” being British spies.
As in all other repression movements by the Iranian government since 1978, what is exactly behind the accusations against Great Britain?
Maybe, because on June 19th, 2009 Britain froze GBP 1.6 billion (around USD2.2 billion) assets of the Iranian government. Most precisely, the assets are managed by Mojtaba Khamenei, the second son of the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Mojtaba is seen as even more conservative than his father.
From where came this money? Is it legal? Will it be used to finance the Hezbollah and Hamas?
An article dated June 22nd 2009 on The Guardian, indicates that Mojtaba is one of the major instigators of the repression we are seeing against innocent civilians. If those reports are right, then it is obvious why Britain is now the great Satan.
Is this all about money? We do not know. What we know is that the worst sin that we Muslims can commit, called shirk, is to worship something in the place of Allah.
Under the law of God:
"Allah does not forbid you respecting those who have not made war against you on account of (your) religion, and have not driven you forth from your homes, that you show them kindness and deal with them justly; surely Allah loves the doers of justice" Koran (60-8) “…take not life, which God hath made sacred, except by way of justice and law: thus doth He command you, that ye may learn wisdom.” [Al-Qur’an 6:151].
“Otherwise, as I have already said, a government not respecting the people’s vote has no religious or political legitimacy. I ask the police and army personnel not to “sell their religion”, and be aware that receiving orders will not excuse them before God.” Grand Aiatollah Montazeri June 2009.
The ones that kill innocent citizens, are blasphemers are blasphemers because they go against the law of God.
Under the law of men.
“The Iranian government at this time has ceased to be a legitimate government. A government primary role is to protect its citizens. They have done the exact opposite. They have hired thugs from the rural areas of Iran, Syria and Lebanon to beat, terrorize andkill its citizens. They pay the Lebanese more than the Iranian. 200,000 Tomans or $200. When your government takes measures to kill you…that is no longer your government! This is no longer about an election!” Anonymous post on Youtube.
“Crimes against international law are committed by men, not by abstract entities, and only by punishing individuals who commit such crimes can the provisions of international law be enforced” (Judgment of the Nuremberg Tribunal, 30th September and 1st October 1946, Cmd. 6964, Misc. No. 12, London: H.M.S.O 1946, p. 41)
