Not again, neo-Chamberlains

"My good friends, for the second time in our history, a British Prime Minister has returned from Germany bringing peace with honor. I believe it is peace for our time... Go home and get a nice quiet sleep." Neville Chamberlain, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, after signing the Munich Pact with Hitler, September 1938.

"The enemy did not expect my great determination. Our enemies are little worms, I saw them at Munich. [...] Now Poland is in the position I wanted. [...] I am only afraid that some bastard will present me with a mediation plan at the last moment." Adolf Hitler to his generals before invading Poland in September 1939.

A British diplomat in Berlin was informed by reliable sources that Hitler viewed Chamberlain as "an impertinent busybody who spoke the ridiculous jargon of an outmoded democracy. The umbrella, which to the ordinary German was a symbol of peace, was in Hitler's view only a subject of derision". Also, Hitler had been heard saying: "If ever that silly old man comes interfering here again with his umbrella, I'll kick him downstairs and jump on his stomach in front of the photographers".

The present US policy is the best one in the face of the events in Iran. Any association of the US with the protesters, will lead to them being chased as traitors of the Iranian Islamic revolution.

As a short-term policy Obama’s government approach is correct. But, please do not start believing that any kind of arrangement on any issue, including the nuclear program, will be respected by the present Iranian government.

The US government should never make the same mistake as Neville Chamberlain. The present Iranian government despises the West. They will do anything to manipulate countries like the US, Great-Britain and why not the whole European Union.

Any agreement signed by such hate-filled minded totalitarians, is bound to have the same results of the Munich Pact. As you have seen in the press, Aiatollah Khamenei already declared that “there is no interest for Iran to make any agreement with the US”.

Even if the US insists in advancing on negotiations with the present Iranian government, those negotiations are likely to be used as coverage for Iran’s continuing development of his atomic bomb.

Hitler was not to be trusted. It is in the history books that Stalin unfortunately manipulated Eisenhower concerning the soviet strategic interests in Central and Eastern Europe and the take of Berlin from the Nazis. The present Iranian government will do the same with any kind of negotiations that Obama could propose to them.

Before the Munich Pact, the German generals admitted that they could not face the Allied armies. After the Munich Pact, well, there was the II World War with millions of casualties.

We are talking about a country that is developing nuclear technology AND at the same time openly sponsors terrorist groups like the Hezbollah and Hamas. Nuclear technology in the hands of those persons will be a deadly disaster.

Do not be naïve like neo-Chamberlains. History will not forgive you for this.

Under the law of God:

"Allah does not forbid you respecting those who have not made war against you on account of (your) religion, and have not driven you forth from your homes, that you show them kindness and deal with them justly; surely Allah loves the doers of justice" Koran (60-8) “…take not life, which God hath made sacred, except by way of justice and law: thus doth He command you, that ye may learn wisdom.” [Al-Qur’an 6:151].

“Otherwise, as I have already said, a government not respecting the people’s vote has no religious or political legitimacy. I ask the police and army personnel not to “sell their religion”, and be aware that receiving orders will not excuse them before God.”  Grand Aiatollah Montazeri June 2009.

The ones that  kill innocent citizens, are blasphemers are blasphemers because they go against the law of God.

Under the law of men.

“The Iranian government at this time has ceased to be a legitimate government. A government primary role is to protect its citizens. They have done the exact opposite. They have hired thugs from the rural areas of Iran, Syria and Lebanon to beat, terrorize andkill its citizens. They pay the Lebanese more than the Iranian. 200,000 Tomans or $200. When your government takes measures to kill you…that is no longer your government! This is no longer about an election!” Anonymous post on Youtube.

“Crimes against international law are committed by men, not by abstract entities, and only by punishing individuals who commit such crimes can the provisions of international law be enforced” (Judgment of the Nuremberg Tribunal, 30th September and 1st October 1946, Cmd. 6964, Misc. No. 12, London: H.M.S.O 1946, p. 41)
