Honduras 50,000 March in Support of New President
June 30, 2009 | Tegucigalpa, Honduras | Vetting explained
over 50,000 citizens from all over Honduras, young, old, families, labor unions, churches, and the business community peacefully marched in the Capital city of Teguigalpa today in a show of unity for President Roberto Micheletti and the impeachment of Mel Zelaya. Shouts of Viva Honduras, Democracy and Peace, WE Cannot be Bought and the singing of the national anthem could be heard during the 3 hour long demostration.
Please CNN give us a fair representation of what the people really want here in Honduras and stop showing paid demostrators from the Chavez propaganda machine provoking our Army and Police into confrontations.
We are a peaceful people asking the world leaders to recognize our legal process and respect our Supreme Court, Attorney General and National Congress' decision to impeach Mel Zelaya.
