Close to 6000 views have been logged on Apple's own suport website of a complaint related to issues concerning their leading edge Apple TV.

The device allows iTunes users to purchase and download TV, movies, music and podcasts from iTunes and view them directly via an attached television. It is an expensive piece of hardware, costing $229 for a basic model and $329 for a larger hard-drive version.

Users are complaining that the device is plagued with WiFi connectivity issues, which is a prerequisite to using the device.

Devoted Apple users share claims such as:
"I get a drop about once a week" and "You can add me to the list of persons having the same issue."

Apple engineers have yet to respond to the issue, and a grassroots Internet campaign is brewing in order to force Apple to address the issue so many users are experiencing worldwide.
