I'm a republican. The last thing I want is to see Hillary get elected. So, in that respect, I should be happy with the DNC "Compromise" yesterday. However, I was deeply disturbed by what I saw while I watched the entire coverage of the rules committee meeting....

I heard a lot of democrats talk about the strength of the democratic process yesterday. Perhaps the rules committee should be renamed the hypocrit committee. Since when does the democratic process involve silencing the voices of millions of American citizens? Voting at "half power" is an insult to everyone that went to the polls to make their voices heard.

The DNC looked like a bunch of spoiled brats throwing a tantrum because two states didn't follow their arbitrary rules. They were more concerned about "punishing" that they lost sight of the REAL basis of a democratic process - the voter.

I understand there are rules to prevent chaos, as one DNC'er commented. But, the punishment should never, ever be to punish the voters who had absolutely no control over when or how the primaries were conducted.

One more sign of how important our voter are in America. The presidential election in Florida in 2000, the governor election in Washington, and now a blatent disregard for voters by the DNC.

Perhaps the members of the DNC rules committee would be better suited for politics in North Korea or China.
