Orphanage in Tegucigalpa
July 4, 2009 | Tegucigalpa, Honduras | Vetting explained
This video is from a recent trip to Tegucigalpa to work at an orphanage that is there.
This is edited footage, but I have hours of raw footage available to give you a glimpse into the daily life of at least one segment of this society: the children that are abandoned to the system... and the people who are there to help.
Most of this footage is only about 6 miles from where the KFC explosion took place earlier yesterday.
I am planning another trip for later this year if the political environment still allows travel.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
