Memorial Service for Michael Jackson in Paris
July 4, 2009 | Paris, France | Vetting explained
We are visiting Paris for the first time and while wandering around the Eiffel Tower my sister Madeleine and I heard a familiar song: "I'll be there" by the Jackson Five. We headed toward the music to discover that the Parisians were holding a outdoor memorial service for Michael Jackson. There were loudspeakers belting out the music and thousands of people dancing, swaying, and even crying. It was very, very moving. The King of Pop will always be remembered, here and around the world.
Au revoir,
Carllene King
