My first trip to the Statue of Liberty
July 6, 2009 | Philadelphia, Pennsylvania | Vetting explained
Sad to say that I've only been to the Statue of Liberty once, in 2004. I've been meaning to go there for years. I even missed going there with relatives on September 9, 2001, two days before a tragic day in our history.
The photos I posted are different angles of the Statue from the ferry. One of the photo has my cousin posing like the Statue of Liberty. He thought that was original. I also posted a photo of the Manhattan skyline. I wish I had the chance to see the Manhattan skyline with the Statue of Liberty before September 11, 2001.
I look forward to having all areas of the Statue of Liberty open. I would like to see the view from the crown personally.
