Two guys, a girl and a very cold place - no music
June 2, 2008 | Vetting explained
Three scandinavians are going for a swim at the geographic North Pole. They skied from 89 degrees north to 90 degrees north in April 2008. It was a sunny day with about 5 m/s wind from the south(!). The air-temperature was -20 degrees celcius (-4 farenheit) and the sea-temperature was a bit below 0 degress celcius (32 farenheit). What happened to Global Warming? The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
