iReport —

Hope the traveling doll has completed the last leg of her travels, returning back to the United States after a long stay in South Africa!

The Journey of Hope takes a grass roots artisan path to bring happiness and most importantly, hope to children and their families around the world as well as to raise funds for the Shriners Children's Hospital.

Her name is Hope, a hand crafted doll who was created with one purpose - to bring hope throughout the world and to touch the hearts of children along her travels.

The Hope Doll is a handmade doll, designed and created by Annette Ringeisen, the felt artist and dollmaker who is the driving force behind Woolcreations.com.

Hope has traveled the world on an adventurous journey.  She departed North Carolina with a goal of visiting Children all over the world, she recorded all her journeys in her journal and carries with her, all the gifts and items given to her by those she visited.

You can read out Hopes wonderful journey at her blog, http://traveling-hope.com/ and you can share in the joy she has brought to children in the United States, Canada, Europe and Africa!  She  was also captured in a painting by Terris Hubby,  an amazing artist in South Africa which will accompany Hope to her new home, which will be decided by a drawing.

Hope will be given away during a drawing that will run from now until the end of August, ALL proceeds will be donated to the Shriners Children's Hospital, who so graciously supported the projects donation objective.

Hope’s goal is simple,  bring unique and happy moments into children’s lives. Children who are not as fortunate or who need some special attention brought to them.
