Food Stamps and The Internet
July 13, 2009 | Queens Village, New York | Vetting explained
I was just wondering if it would be very easy to shop for food online using food stamp cards. Should the Government implement that into the businesses who have websites like Stop and Shop? It will be cool for those people who cannot leave their home for any reason. I think that Supermarkets and local stores should have the food stamp cards ready for online payment.
If you receive food stamps in New York and have a card, would it be easy for you to pay for your food shopping online and have it delivered?
Give me your take on this.. It's been in my thoughts for awhile to have this type of access for those that cannot make it to the stores and need their food.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
