July 17, 2009 | San Antonio, Texas | Vetting explained
Live footage from the Tea Party protest in front of US Rep. Charlie Gonzalez's office in San Antonio Texas. The group also submitted a petition to Rep. Gonzalez requesting him to:
1. Vote NO on any immigration reform bill that fails to secure our borders or allows immigrants who have broken our laws to become citizens.
2. Vote NO on the American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009 (The Cap and Trade Bill) because this bill will raise the cost of energy to all Americans.
3. Vote NO on any socialized medicine bill.
4. Vote NO on Hate Crimes legislation because this legislation restricts free speech.
5. Vote YES to audit the Federal Reserve.
Represetatives of the Tea Party said they will continue having Tea Parties and protests to make their representatives in government aware of the fact that they represent the people of the United States.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
