How long did it take for the Civil Rights Act to pass and be fairly implemented?

How long did it take for Women to get the right to vote and then finally vote?

How long did it take for segregation to end?

How long did it take for all men to be treated equally?

And gays are mad President Obama and his administration because nothing much has been done on repealing “don’t ask don’t tell”? They also seem to not be happy because they haven’t been given the right to marry.

Well take a number and get in line. Change doesn’t come over night no matter how many promises are made during and after an election. Just like every other group change will come when it comes, but don’t expect it to happen overnight simply because you have a following or think people are ready for change doesn’t mean change is here. After all you can change the laws, but that doesn’t change the hearts of men.

Those who are uptight and want a quick fix…get over yourselves it ain’t gonna happen yet. Be patient and persevere.

“and we are not saved…”
