Love my Hummer!!!
June 4, 2008 | Rochester Hills, Michigan | Vetting explained
No one will ever pry my Hummer out of my hands. I enjoy driving it for the safety that it provides my family and for the help in getting thru Michigan winters. It doesn't suck that much gas -- I get about 15.8 to 16.5 mpg (about the same as my previous 4x4 GMC Sierra Crew Cab that I traded in to get my new Hummer). I really don't care what the price of gas gets to -- I will always drive some type of 4x4. My wife has an AWD Saturn Vue that gets about 15mpg, and for us (and our 3 kids) that is good enough. Gas prices will be what they are, but will not dictate what type of car my family drives. When my kids start driving, I will get them some type of SUV regardless of the mileage or price of gas.
