Going out for a photo shoot with your action figures
August 5, 2009 | Georgia | Vetting explained
Joelanta as a group is very active. We take our toys outside and play with them. Some might think its strange, grown men playing with toys. I don't care what some people think. It's a hobby and something I enjoy doing. As my wife said to a friend of hers “He’s not out drinking, chasing women or getting into trouble. My wife and I have been married for 18 wonderful years. Yes, she is ok with our basement being a man pit full of GI Joes and dioramas. The only time she gets upset is when it starts to take over the garage and she has no place to park the car. When my friends call the house she tells them I'm in the basement playing with my dolls. I tell her all the time, "They are not dolls they are action figures." I have a 16 year old son that loved to play with his Joes when he was little. Girls, cars and Football have his attention now. Go figure! He still helps me when I ask and he doesn't roll his eyes.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
