Terrible cruelty to Dogs
August 10, 2009 | Kennesaw, Georgia | Vetting explained
Dear Robin, I was forwarded a petition by my daughters in the UK, that I am unable to send to you because you don't have a regular email address. Apparently in the Island of Reunion ( don't know where it is) the fishermen are using live dogs as bait for sharks, they tie up their legs and put a hook through the dogs face. Is there someone you know as a journalist that could help these poor animals. The photo's are pretty graphic and horrifying, I am sickened. PLEASE HELP!!

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
