Man rescued from cliff
August 12, 2009 | San Diego, California | Vetting explained
August 12, 2009 @ 1:34am.
Some guy decided to scale down the 750ft cliff to reach Blacks Beach. There is 1 designated trail to get down there, but this dare devil decided to "blaze his own trail" and ended up needing to be rescued. Poor camera video footage shows the guy being pulled to safety. Pretty lucky guy here. Some parts of the cliff are atleast 500ft vertical drops.
*How do I get my free t-shirt?*

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
