To who it may concern
I was wondering if you would be interested in do a news story about injustice at the border. My name is Jerry Lee I am from New Philadelphia I am a normal citizen, who met a girl over the internet and she has since become my girlfriend and is now my fiancée, and she now lives in Canada. She is not a Canadian citizen and when we made the plan for me to move to canada I could not find any help in getting to Canada so I decided to get a passport and buy a bus ticket and go because I want to be with her.
I tried to go on the 4h of July weekend and I had just enough money for the ticket, but I was promised a job when I got there the company told me to come and when I got there they would interview me and basically I had the job. Well I went and bought a ticket and at greyhound they told me that I would have to buy another ticket on into edmonton that they would only take me into winnepeg. Well I got to the border and they started asking me the questions that they ask at the border. Then they took me into another room and told me that they would not allow me into canada because I only had a one way ticket and they they expected me to have $1500.00 in my pocket to take care of myself while I was there. My intention was to go for three weeks and look at the job situation, Make sure that everything was going to be cosher and that I would be able to make a go at living in Canada and then go from there. They treated me like a terrorist I feel that the way they treat normal cizens is an outrage, I bet that they will allow a terroeist through the Canadian border before they will a law abideing citizen. Now since all I had was the money to get there I am stuck at the city mission which next week my time is up there. Can you please do something to help me get justice?  Oh yea by the way canada is blocking an ordainded Minister from entering their country, I have been an ordained independant bishop since april 10th 2006.
