Watermelon Festival 2009 in Paiporta

Paiporta is small town near from Valencia in Spain where each year celebrates Watermelon Festival.This year , last 11 August From 11 o'clock in the morning neraly 500 persons were at San Francisco Street preparing Watermelon Festival. During 2 hours childrens and parents made the watermelon and at 20.30 all the people walking around city centre. This year 230 watermelon was involve in this festival which is organised by Group of Traditional Dance of Valencia "L'Espoli". This year is the biggest participation in 11 years of festival, but watermelon festival it is a traditional celebration of summer for this reason 200 years ago were celebrate for the people of . This year we see the Traditional house of Valencia which is named Barraca, Starts, Suns, Monsters, Butterfly and diferrents pictures wjhiches were drawing for the childrens and parents. At now you can see some of the watermelons from Paiporta (Valencia- Spain).
