Quick Flood in Downtown Manila
August 21, 2009 | Manila, Philippines | Vetting explained
I was about to go to bed around 2:30am while waiting for QMB to finish when it rained hard. After 30-45 mins, it started to flood on the street. It's now 7am and I am typing this with my feet submerged knee deep in flood inside the house.
The weird thing is that there is no storm presently near Manila at this time. Also the rain only lasted 3 hours.
The Main street is Espana Blvd., the later pics are on the streets near my house.
I'm having trouble uploading the pic of the flood inside my house. I was able to upload it on my facebook account. You can check it here:

And yes, the PC on the table is the one i'm using right now. My feet are currently submerged knee-deep in flood. :-)

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
