We are still in the process of rebuilding our house - expected to be the first Platinum LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified home in NE Florida (Jacksonville). It was destroyed one year ago by Tropical Storm Fay. So... while waiting for decisions to be made re: septic system, well placement, etc. - we've been landscaping along the river! Using all Florida Native and Heritage plants, flowers, and grasses - Kevin Songer of MetroVerde -has designed a wonderful, award winning landscape!
