Sunrise over Central Park
August 25, 2009 | New York, New York | Vetting explained
It's hard to believe that this beautiful sunrise takes place in New York City.
Here is the view from my window at 5:30 in the morning, when I should be asleep. But who could sleep with such a sunrise?
I live on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, and face the reservoir, and the east side of Central Park.
I had to lean quite far out of my window to capture the sun, but once I did, I thought of ireport of course.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
