iReport —

Erlanger cop at Kroger was totally distracted from his conversation last evening upon seeing my 2 tall native American sons exiting the Kroger store we frequent a mile from my home.  They had gone to buy the weekly family groceries.  Mid conversation he stops and stares as they walk past forgetting all about the person he was in conversation with.

My youngest cheerily greeted the officer with a hello as my two sons walk to the car with youngest's girlfriend.  Was it G*****?  No, youngest says it is the one who stopped him one day for doing nothing wrong -- youngest had asked him for the law broken because he was pretty positive he hadn't done anything -- officer gave him the code and son said excuse me a sec and pulled the KY criminal code from glove box quickly finding the code stated -- wasn't related to what officer said and was something son clearly hadn't done -- son asked to leave and officer quite irritated told him to get out of there.  Think the officer remembers?  Oh yes, I bet he does.  They don't like when their rogue harrassment authority is questioned.

The news is out by now for sure.  The dark Indian who they all know by name has returned home on parole.  Erlanger police will be out for blood.  I'll not be surprised if they don't put the entire police force onto looking for something to pin on the dark one.  You can bet the entire police department was informed by now.  It has been this way since Feb 2005 shortly after we moved into the town next door to their lilly white neighborhood.  Erlanger police are certainly a special group of guys (no women and all white of course).

We'll have to grocery shop elsewhere now.  A pitty considering how close that Kroger store is.  Just counting the days until we can get out of here and somewhere the cops are law abiding.  I know just the county.  It is not far from here.  Finger crossed xx.
