Forgiveness? If you Want...Millions? No!!
September 1, 2009 | Vetting explained
Working on the hill I have seen daily what a good PR person can do. I have seen every interview Vick has done and to me his mouth says one thing, but his eyes say another. Sadly since the NFL has reinstated Vick it will be no football for me this year. I can not support an organization that says they are for community and family building and then turn around and do this. I believe in 2nd chances. But not in paying millions to a federal criminal just a couple years later. Maybe that $ could have been put to better use, like funding to the organizations that took these dogs in? A perfect example is the dog above being rehabed at "Dog town" (aka-Best Friends Animal Shelter) If my heart could stand it I would post some of the images of the dogs that were kicked, burned, and hung to death. But honestly, I think those dogs deserve more privacy and respect than he does.
