The Transman and his Faith
September 2, 2009 | Amsterdam, Netherlands | Vetting explained
My name is Yvo Manuel Vas Dias I am a transman, Buddhist with a Portuguese Jews background from Amsterdam. I always new that i was a men. But it took me some years to go back to the Genderteam. First i change my name, clothing, later the hormone treatment, surgery. change my name and gender by law. When i start the hormone treatment i became very agressive. Meditation and my buddhist teacher helpt me during my transition. My family and friends accept me the way i am. It was a hard but wonderful proces.
Now i am a very happy man i can help other religious transgenders with there journey. I set up two networks Transgender Religion Global Network (TRGN) & Transgender Friendly Religious Alliance. The goal of Transgender Religion Global Network (TRGN) and Transgender Friendly Religious Alliance is to build a bridge between religious transgenders, transsexuals of all faith and the different religions.
