A Candid Interview With Veteran John Stubbs Part I of II
September 7, 2009 | Malibu, California | Vetting explained
I was fortunate enough to meet John who served in Iraq. He was open and willing to share with us his experience, hardships, and views on returning to his civilian life. What John had to say was too important to edit down to only a "sampling" of his feelings, which is why this is a two part interview. John's voice needed to be heard.
I began to wonder who else is amongst us, as we pass along the streets, in the grocery store or at our work place, who might also have a similar story. I am glad that I stopped long enough and thankful that John was brave enough to tell his story.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
