Paul Rodriguez - A veterans challenge back to his home life
September 8, 2009 | Kingwood, Texas | Vetting explained
Paul Rodriguez is a 34 year old Iraq veteran that has returned to live in Kingwood, TX. He was featured in his own words in the book by Trish Wood, What Was Asked Of Us. He has also been feature here on local TV.
He had a brain injury and is fighting to get back to normal. He does not want to use Iraq as a crutch but would like to see more respect and appreciation towards veterans who bare the brunt of our freedom.
3 minutes was not enough to cover his vast experience and this interview does not do his service justice but it is a first attempt of given a voice to what these brave men have gone through.
One of his statements is "Try to think about being scare 23 Hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds of your life". That was the battlefield in Iraq.
