iReport —

Fall is the greatest time to enjoy fairs and festivals, especially in you are in a four season region.

The little nip in the evening air and the smell of grilled onions and bell peppers are a promise of a fun filled autumn.

Labor Day Weekend saw the unofficial end to summer and the beginning of back to school and the fall season here.

Stores are already decked out in Halloween and harvest decor.

Our annual Boom's Day festival was last weekend.

It was outstanding as always. According to the local papers over 400,000  attended.

The fireworks display (hence Boon's Day) has been recognized by National Geographic as one of the biggest and best.

The display was synchronized to music and offered images of smiley faces, hearts, and flowers as well as a tribute to the Tennessee Vols and BIG ORANGE and of course just  beautiful free falling fireworks.

Above are photos  that I took during the fireworks display.
