South Carolina Shame
September 9, 2009 | Philadelphia, Pennsylvania | Vetting explained
Thanks, South Carolina Rep. Joe Wilson, for showing us just how pathetic the Republican Party has become. In case you missed it: during Obama's speech this evening, when The President denied that proposed health care legislation would provide free health coverage for illegal immigrants, Wilson shouted, "You lie!"
This level of ignorance from an elected official is a disgrace. I guess he also has managed to shoot down the stereotype about Southern gentility, civility, and manners.
When I went to Wilson's website to send him a message, I got what you see above.
Yeah, right.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
