Honor Killings ..
September 11, 2009 | Vetting explained
The plight of the Ohio teen is not an isolated incident or a simple family matter. This is a disregard of the basic human rights experienced by countless teens, men and women of Muslim Faith and conservative cultures such as South Asia and the Middle East. I am glad to see this issue getting politicized. People need to understand that if they choose to live in the western world, no matter what their back ground, the freedoms enjoyed by all citizens also apply to their children and next of kin.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
