Too much rain ...
September 12, 2009 | New Orleans, Michigan | Vetting explained
For the last couple of days, it's been raining like crazy in New Orleans and water has been ponding everywhere. No major flooding though ... just a whole bunch of standing water.
I take my dog, Max, behind the levees quite a bit to run around and play in the water. He loves it. There's another video on here about the dogs. Anyhow, I came up here today to find the water creeping up the Industrial Canal levee. Nothing serious. No breaks or anything like that ... just a bunch of water.
I've heard reports of flooding in St. Bernard Parish just to the East of the Lower Ninth Ward where I am, but nothing really confirmed. The area is under a flood watch right now though. I'll update if anything happens.
