Democracy in Action Party
September 13, 2009 | Alef, Texas | Vetting explained
At this "Concerned Citizens Event" held in conjunction with the tea party events happening across the U.S., this gathering in Alief, Texas congregated at Just-A-Bar, a local pub offering up free food and red white and blue drinks in the spirit of the occasion. The small group lead by Daniel Boone, an unverified descendant of the american pioneer he is named after, took turns telling their own stories of government injustices ranging from personal dealings with the IRS to the hot button topic of health care reform.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
