At what point in time did the few members of the committes become the rulers, deciders and lawmakers of our company? When people testify before a committee it is televised but after that the meetings of the members discuss the issue behind closed doors, then decide how to tell the members of their party how to vote.  All laws and issues should be done on the floor of congress and the senate with all members presant and the cameras rolling.  We hear of the big six in the senate meeting and trying to make a deal.  We elected more than six representatives so everyone we elected should be in their seat to listen to the issues.  They never read the bills they vote for, they just vote as they are told to.  Instead of seeing them on cable news shows, I would rather watch them all at work on the floor of government every day.  I'm sure the committes were formed to make the process smother and better but it has made corruption easier. While we make the change, all committe meetings should be on camera.  The only time our representatives are together on the floor is for the state of the union and when they run in to cast a vote. Let's see open government for a change.  Wouldn't that freak out the lobbyists?  We elect them to go to Washington and work for us, it's about time they do.  We all show up at our jobs every day, work til the day is done and our boss is always watching us.  It's about time they realize that's what you do when you have a job.
