Heads Up CNN, call the CEO
September 15, 2009 | Washington, District of Columbia | Vetting explained
To the COEs of Dish Network,
I am a long term Dish Network Customer and I have been Personal insulted by three News Channels that I am being Forced to support via my Dish Network programming.
Tonight on September 14, 2009 I turned on the News and was called a Raceist. Although my name was not specifically mentioned all of the 9/12 Protestors in DC where called right-wing Raceist by MSNBC, CNN, and HLN. According to the London Telegraph well over a million Protestors attended the Ralley. I am sure your numbers have changed in recent years, but that is roughly one tenth of your customer base.
I personally voted for Obama and have since been discusted by his actions not his ethnic heritage. The group that I attended the ralley consisted of a My wife, my three year old child, a Homo sexual friend from high school, His significant other, An African American that worked at the hotel we where staying, and a legal immigrant co-worker. I find it unforgiveable for MSNBC, CNN, and HLN to call their (and your) customers by such unforgivable terms as "Raceist".
In turn I wish to no longer support those three companies with my monthly Dish Network payment. Respectfully, I am Demanding that those before mentioned media outlets along with my Local NBC affiliate be removed from my programming package. I am not requesting to have my package changed in any other way except the removal of those media outlets.
As a US Citizen I am guranteed a right to voice my opinion, and in returned my elected representatives have chose to ignore Millions of people they swore to represent. I may not be able to prevent our Political leaders from stealing from my family, but I can refuse to personally fund the Media Outlets that call me, and my three year old child, Raceist.
I require a timely response or I will be forced to end my subscription and find another television provider who will not force me to support such unforgivable actions.
Thank you for your time,

The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
