To his Friends, He was called "Buddy"
September 17, 2009 | Vetting explained
Years ago, I was the Superintendent of an F-15E Strike Eagle Fighter Squadron, a good friend of mine introduced me to Patrick (Buddy).
I was going to organize a visit to our Flight Simulator and let "Buddy" fly it for awhile (he was a multi-engine rated pilot). Anyhow, at the last minute, his film-shooting schedule changed and he was not able to visit our squadron but, the nice guy he was, he sent me this signed photo (which I copied and shared with the squadron),
This is my copy, he was a real nice, down to earth guy, my good friend Jim actually sold him his aircraft, Buddy called it Cloud Dancer.
He will be missed, not many like him left these days - Chocks out, Advance Throttles and Clear Skies - RIP Tom

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
